Pleasure not Please or Sure

well, it's my pleasure to have ten different kinds of food in my table. But, it's little bit greedy. right? okay there's nothing to do with 10 different foods -_-

About 2 weeks ago, me and my friend Kilau were craving for food. we were so hungry and there was no food. it was about 6 pm and it was so cool outside. And after our starvation can't hold on anymore. i decided to get dinner at D'bims cafe near her our college. well my first impression was just night cafe with smoking people inside. I look around to the menu and i just, well this is standard menu that i could find in another cafe. finally i found green tea latte, always be my favorite beverages.
Okay the green tea latte is the poin plus. and when the dishes came in my table. i just couldn't hold my saliva. oh the smell was so great

and my friend got this beautiful dishes, i called it beautiful because her beverages was more delicious than mine and her latte has granule, but mine? :(

it costs cheaper than i though. you can spend 30.000 IDR for two portion or 2 beverages.

How to get there?

D'bims cafe is located in Ngesrep, Banyumanik Semarang. You will find an University of Diponegoro Gate. and you enter the gate and just go straight near your right side.

It is my pleasure to have green tea latte. i think the best green tea latte i've ever taste. since i went to D'bims cafe, i started to love green tea latte and order it whatever the cafe is

Secret Heritage of Indonesia

INDONESIA.

Yeah, Indonesia is my beloved country. I was born and raised in this place. Maybe foreigner only knows about Bali, and some of them don't know if it's located in Indonesia.

I bet everybody around the world have known about Bali. Well, we have a lot of tourist destination, beautiful beach, and scenery. But, there is a place in Java with beautiful old castle. Villagers called it Kraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat.

Hey world! You should go to SOLO

This is a picture from the outside of castle. I searched from google cause i don't have the outside one. 

I have a some pictures captured by my sister, she went to solo and she took some picture inside the castle. 

First sight when you entered the kraton, it was amazing. the architecture was really original. It was just like you travel back to 1700's. 

Tips for you who wants to hire a tour guide, it is a must. Tour guide will tell you the history, meaning, and rules of kraton. People around Kraton called the tour guide is abdi dalem. They wear traditional clothes, and wear yellow shawl. 

Pendopo

this is called pendopo, this place usually to perform traditional dance. the building are full of javanese sculpture, so i called this one of secret heritage of Indonesia. an important guess has an opportunity to watch traditional dance, and other traditional performance in here. as you can see, the lamp is full of crystal, and guess what how much does it worth?

How to get there?

 Kraton Solo is located in Mangkubumen Sasono Mulyo street. you can take pedicab or dokar. You just say, " Kraton Solo" they will understand.. If your located is quite far, just call a taxi or take trans Solo,it is more useful

are those the only things that you'll find in Solo? of course not. For some backpackers usually search for traditional stuff with low price. I love low prices, and sometimes we have to work hard to get a deal with seller. but that is the most interesting moment i think. we can bargain and get the lower prices and we will feel happy to buy it. I suggest you to visit Pasar Klewer ( Klewer Market)...

yeaay, you can do anything you want.. you can buy all the things you wanted to buy ( not everything exactly) i mean this is the place where you can buy traditional stuff, original from solo. you can find batik clothes, small sculpture, silk, and foods.. while your mom is still busy with batik clothes or just busy with bargaining, you may have a seat in food store where they sell traditional foods..

How to get there?

Klewer market is located near Alun Alun lor ( north Alun-Alun complex) or at Dr. Radjiman Solo street you can take pedicab (again) and just walk down to the street. although it maybe tiring, but it will more fun, you can sightseeing and take a picture in the middle of crowd..

Last but not least, for antique stuff seeker, you must visit this place. in Diponegoro street, you'll find Triwindu market. this is soo adorable. they sell antique stuff such as gramophone, leather suitcase, and more. in here, you have to be smart to bargain the price, because in here little bit hard to get low prices because the stuff itself  are difficult to find,

and i found something unique, i don't really know what is it

like colored stones.

Pasar Triwindu or Windujenar is located in Diponegoro Street Solo, open everyday from 09.00 am - 04.00pm. feel free to visit there and i bet you will go there again

Frosting Recipe

Cake without frosting is nothing. The process is very easy and fast.You can combine with choco chips or sprinkles at the top of the cream.

Ingredients:

• 400 grams of Icing Sugar
• 200 grams of butter
• Pinch of Vanilla Extract
• Food Coloring

How To Make:

• Mix Icing Sugar and Butter.
• Add a pinch of vanilla extract
• Combine with food coloring and start to mix them with mixer. Set the mixer to medium speed
• Meanwhile, prepare the pipping bag and  fill them in.
• Start to decorate your cakes.

For optional you can add mint or strawberry extract.

Fondant Icing Recipe

Fondant Icing is used to garnish a wedding cakes, cupcakes or other cakes. It cover the cakes and make the cakes beautiful. Usually Icing is made from glycerin, or liquid glucose. But don't worry, i have the simplest and quickest way to make fondant icing.

Ingredients:

• 450 grams of Plain Marshmallow 
• 900 grams of Icing Sugar/Powdered Sugar
• 2 or 5 tablespoon of water.
• Crisco, If you don't have it, use butter or oil.

How To Make:

• Melt the marshmallow and water in microwave. Set the microwave for 20 or 30 second. Open, and stir.
• Put it back to microwave, set the microwave for 30 sec and do it continuously until melted.
• Place the icing sugar to the top of melted marshmallow and start to knead. Don't forget to grease your hand with crisco. 
• Knead the dough until well mixed.
• If you want to coloring the icing, add 1 teaspoon of food coloring as you pleased.
• Start to make cute shape from the icing and place them above the cake.
• And Let's decorating :)

Maybe it takes 1 hour to make fondant icing.

Cupcake Recipe

Ingredients:

175 grams of Sugar
175 grams of Butter
175 grams of self raising flour
3  large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

How To Make:

• Preheat oven to 180 degrees. prepare the paper liners.
• Mix butter with sugar. Beat them for 2 minute.
• Add the Vanilla extract.
• Add the first egg, then 1 tablespoon of flour. Do it one by one
• Add the second egg, and then add the flour again until finished.
• Beat them thoroughly.
• Spoon cupcake batter into paper liners till 1/2 full
• Bake for 25 minutes until the cakes done.
• Finished with Frosting or Icing

Cupcakes for Birthday

Hi Everyone :)
On February 18th, 2 months ago was my birthday. I was turning to 18 years old. I got a lot of present from my family and my friends. One of them is a cute cupcake. It was from my sister tya . She knew about my interest, So on that day, she gave me 4 cupcakes mickey and minnie. I love mickey and minnie. I was so surprised with her present. I just can captured 2 cupcakes, because i've already eat them. :p
